The Beauty of Art Portrait
Art portraiture doesn't only mean the expressions on the face of the person in the image; it's more than that.
Art portraits have been created with more than just art, or only the portrait, but they're more attractive, artistic, and memorable because a photographer or artist is the one who creates the theme, style, setup, shoot, and post-processing.
Art portraits normally have more fantasy in the model's look, outfit, makeup, hairstyle, way of shooting, location, etc.
Now a day even included a retoucher to work with for the end of the process.
I have since done art portraits in studio and outdoors as well, and I have done shoots a few times. Indoors, I have much more control to get the best results than outdoors, where the light theme people and location make it much more difficult to get the perfect master piece shot.
This session was with model Fern
I use my Sony A7 III 28-70mm F4
Studio godox lights ( 2 lights) with black background
Set at F5.6 Shutter speed 160 ISO 200
I hope you guys like the way I create the theme in the shots and editing, which is to use mostly curves to not destroy any details on the images.
